Description

Bullseye - ThinFire Shelf Paper
Perfect for Achieving Smooth, Clean Kiln Firings!

Bullseye ThinFire Shelf Paper is designed for use in kiln firing applications to ensure a smooth finish on the bottom of your glass projects. This high-quality, ceramic-impregnated paper provides excellent separation between your glass and kiln shelf, preventing molten glass from sticking. ThinFire is perfect for projects that require a clean, polished underside and is a great alternative to frequent re-priming of kiln shelves.

Key Features:

  • Size: Each sheet measures 21" x 41", providing 861 square inches of coverage per sheet. The set includes 5 or 10 rolled sheets for maximum convenience.
  • Temperature Resistance: With a firing capability up to 1,600°F (870°C), ThinFire is ideal for a variety of glass fusing and firing applications.
  • Smooth Finish: Provides a smoother surface on the bottom of your fired projects, enhancing the professional look of your work.
  • Time Saver: No more frequent priming! ThinFire significantly reduces shelf prep time and eliminates the need for kiln washes, offering faster and easier clean-up after firings.
  • Odor-Free Firing: Enjoy less binder burnout odor during firing, making your kiln sessions more pleasant.
  • Easier Handling & Storage: ThinFire is lightweight, making it easier to handle and store compared to traditional shelf priming materials.

How to Use:

  • Simply cut the ThinFire sheet to the size you need and place it on your kiln shelf.
  • One sheet is good for one firing only.
  • After firing, remove the used ThinFire paper and replace it with a fresh sheet for your next project.

Important Notes:

  • ThinFire is not suitable for all applications. For example, when used with iridized glass, ThinFire may cause surface pitting due to a chemical reaction.
  • It's recommended to test ThinFire for suitability on your specific project before regular use.

Ideal for glass artists looking to create flawless, smooth finishes on the underside of their fused glass projects, Bullseye ThinFire Shelf Paper makes kiln firing simpler, cleaner, and more efficient.
