1/2 Pound Glass Pro Whiting Powder

Whiting is A finely ground, naturally occurring Calcium Carbonate, 97.5% pure. Balance of components, silica or magnesium. As used in better grade glazing compounds or for cleanup after glazing

Whiting powder is used as a cleaning agent to help remove all forms of residue - used for lead work in stained glass to remove excess cement.

Sprinkle dry over entire glass panel surface and rub with a soft cloth or stiff soft bristled brush.

 How to use whiting:   Spread a light coating of whiting over the entire panel. Use your clean brush in a circular motion, brushing against the lead came and allowing the whiting powder to soak up the excess cement. Brush away any dry clumps and continue brushing - apply more whiting as needed.
